In front of my eyes I saw a man who jumped from the bridge.
I watched how he died.
it was not as fast as you may think.
It broke me.
When I came back after some months I developed two rolls of film. I do not remember much about any of them .
I was shocked when I saw photos. It was that day in Istanbul on our way to the bridge, before that jump, I photographed those rolls.
I made my pictorial story in my darkroom on silver gelatin papers with a complex way of orders.
I made 300 offset copies in the same size with different kind of binding in a black pocket.
Descent, is designed and printed on Ilford silver gelatin RC papers in my darkroom , hand bound and signed in just one edition. I imagined for 5 edition but currently I am out of resources so it can be happen on order demand.
